Aboriginal Men’s Breakfast
InComPro’s Nunga Men’s Breakfast is a new partnership with the Kaurna Plains School. Held every fortnight on a Wednesday, the breakfast is an opportunity for Aboriginal men to come together for a feed, to meet other men and socialise, have a yarn and to learn about what’s happening in the community.
Yurata Mathanha (Senior Aboriginal Women’s Group)
Established in 2018, InComPro’s Yurata Mathanha group meets every second Tuesday of the month at InComPro. The women who currently make up the group are members of the Narungga, Adnyamathanha and Kaurna Aboriginal Nations, from the Yorke Peninsula to the Northern Flinders Ranges and the Adelaide Plains. The group is keen for other Aboriginal women to join their growing numbers. In addition to excursions, the group participates in a range of activities including art and craft, sewing and cooking.
