Strong Communities
InComPro works in partnership with Uniting Care Wesley Bowden (UCWB) to deliver the Strong Families Strong Communities Program (SFSC). The program is funded by the Department of Human Services and is an early intervention program that seeks to empower families through the delivery of targeted activities that promote safety and wellbeing.
The program addresses a need for children, young people and families to:
- improve family safety and wellbeing
- build and sustain family functioning
- strengthen the capacity for a family to influence decisions and reach potential
- increase service navigation, access, and advocacy support
- strengthen connection to support in their local community and culture.
The SFSC service model is underpinned by a trauma informed, culturally responsive, strength based case management approach.
