What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), is a new way to support people living with disability in Australia. It enables those eligible to access the support and funding they need to achieve a better standard of living for themselves, their families and carers. The NDIS is run by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
As a NDIS registered provider, InComPro can deliver services and resources to people living with a disability. This might include:
- Equipment and therapy
- Access to healthcare, community services and support
- Assistance to maintain your informal support arrangements
The NDIS is available for people aged 0-65 living with permanent or significant disability. This means the person is likely to have the disability their whole life, and it affects how they do everyday activities like making meals, having a shower or going to work or school.
For more information on eligibility criteria, steps in the process and how to get assessed, please visit the NDIS website.
